1. A reminder for no nuts please.
2. Booking school lunches - we politely request booking a month at time, we are doing a lunch register in the morning and children who put their hands up for having a school lunch but are not on the paid list, their parents/caters will be invoiced on Spider or the cost deducted from their credit on Spider. This is a time consuming task each day and where there is repeated occurrences we will need to speak to parents directly. If your circumstances have changed and you require financial assistance to meet the cost of school lunches please call or email us at info@st-stephens.richmond.sch.uk so that we can support you to apply for free school meals.
3. Pedestrian crossing - countdown timings have been changed since the Christmas break and children haven been witnessed dashing across the road as the countdown ends, the central island is a hotspot for accidents, we urge you to speak to your children about the dangers of this at home. We are addressing the matter in school and have raised the concern with the council, please do also contact the council if you so wish. We always encourage the use of the iron footbridge for the safest means of crossing.
4. Lost property, there is a huge amount of lost property at the school office including uniforms, PE kits, Coats and lunch boxes and water bottles. Please do come and look for items you may have lost or risk buying it back at the second hand sales!
5. There are multiple occasions every day where forgotten items are being dropped off to the office throughout the course of the day which is both disruptive and an inefficient use of staffs time.
Please do double check you everything packed in the mornings before leaving for school.
