This week we competed in the borough netball competition, ending in a strong fourth place out of thirty three schools. We wanted to follow up our recent success in finishing top of our mini league (see story below) and really push ourselves against schools we haven't played before. We had five games in the first group stage, with only the top two schools set to qualify. Winning four of our five games meant we were through to the next stage. We then entered the second group stage, knowing coming top was the only way we would qualify for the semi finals. Despite losing the first game we won the next three, moving to the semi finals after winning the final game with an impressive 5-0 scoreline. Unfortunately, we fell at the semi-final hurdle to a Hampton side, losing 4-2 in a game which could have gone either way. We played some truly fabulous netball. This performance is a credit, not just to those who took part on the day, but to the other players who push them, week in, week out, at our club training sessions. To finish fourth out of thirty three schools is a magnificent achievement. Well done to Isla, Hettie, Mila, Sybil, Mollie, Albert, Xander and Eli.

Netball Team Tops the League
Last week our netball team played against St Richard Reynolds School to win our local league. We produced a solid display winning 5-0, with Mila taking all the plaudits for some amazing shooting. Well done to all those who took part and really showed how far we have come this year. Well done to - Izzy, Hettie, Mollie, Mila, Annika, Sybil, Xander, Albert and Eli.
