EYFS

In EYFS, children develop their understanding of the world through focused activities as well as a range of activities which are set up both inside and outside the classroom for children to choose from.  Children explore the natural world around them and develop their understanding of what they can see, hear and feel whilst outside. Children observe changes to the environment across seasons and are introduced to the key geographical resource of maps.
