As part of our new RED curriculum, children have been exploring during their Religion lessons an Art link.
Here are some of the examples produced this year!
Year 2 children have been learning about how the Holy Spirit has been represented in Art. They looked at an artist called Marlene Scholz. Her 'Holy Trinity' artwork inspired them to portray the Holy Spirit in a variety of ways: fire, wind, light using media such as black card and oil pastels and displaying a variety of artistic skills.
The Year 6 children have been reflecting on Jesus walk to Calvary and recreated one of the stations of the cross using a variety of media and artistic styles!
In Year 4 pupils have been learning about Abraham and its covenant. They then created a collage to represent his relationship with God.
Our Reception students have been learning about the Blessed Sacrament and its meaning. They then used a variety of media to recreate it and shared why it is important to them.
