Wayne Thiebaud

Wayne Thiebaud (born November 15, 1920) is an American painter known for his colorful works of common foods like pies, ice cream cones, and pastries—as well as for his landscapes and figure paintings. Thiebaud uses heavy pigment and exaggerated colors.
