7-12 ART

I teach  middle school and high school art classes at Saint Edmond.

In the fall I will be teaching basic design, clay one, sculpture, painting one, 6th, 7th and 8th grade art.   

In the spring I will be teaching basic design, drawing, clay one, clay two, painting one, painting two and sculpture. 

I also moderate the High School Art Club.

All of my classes will be working with the National Core Art Standards:

1.    Creating (Production):  Conceiving and developing new artistic ideas and work

2.    Presenting (Aesthetics):  Interpreting and sharing artistic work

3.    Responding (Criticism):  Understanding and evaluating how the arts convey meaning

4.    Connecting (Art History)  Relating artistic ideas and work with personal meaning and external content
