With over 15 years experience in the green industry; I come from a background in landscape design, construction, management, and nursery operations. Upon graduating high school from Norfolk Aggie, I attended the Stockbridge School of Agriculture (at Umass) for Landscape Contracting and then went on to receive my bachelors degree in Horticulture at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. I then received my Masters Degree in Education from Fitchburg University. For years I have worked for award winning companies stretching across metro west and the south shore designing and installing beautiful outdoor living environments. I am as passionate for my industry as I am for teaching. My goal is to educate, train, and advise the next generation of students in such a lucrative industry. With over 15 years of experience, my primary background within the industry has been in floral design, interior landscapes, management, and greenhouse operations. After graduating high school from Norfolk Aggie, I then went on to attend the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at Umass Amherst for Horticulture. I received my Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science. After completing my Bachelor's Degree I then went on to obtain an associate's degree in Business management. I then received my Masters Degree in Education from Fitchburg University. Throughout the years I have worked for design companies in Boston and the surrounding areas designing, installing and maintaining elegant interior landscapes. I respect and take great pleasure in being part of this industry and encourage my students to always discover their passions in it as well. I have been a part of the green Industry for ten years. My background includes landscape construction, as well as management. I started in the Horticulture field at Upper Cape Tech High School; after graduating from there I attended the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I received an associates degree in Landscape Contracting as well as a bachelors in Sustainable Community Development with a focus in Landscape, Design, Build. Working in the industry I learned efficient techniques for beautifying the landscape from planting installations to building pools, patios, and walkways. My goal is to be able to share the knowledge I have learned from a classroom setting as well as in the field to the many students who share the same passion.
