Over the two years, the HL program will take 240 hours and the SL program will take 180 hours to complete. It is important that the subjects you choose are subjects that you want to spend time working on.
It is important that you consider your future aspirations. Ask yourself, do you have a particular goal in mind with regards to where you want to study in the future or what you want to study. Do some research. Talk to the college office.
Generally speaking, students will need to be consistently achieving in the B range in order to continue with a subject at higher level. Ms El-Taha also collects teacher recommendations. Based on the recommendations and grades, you will receive a letter with one of the following outcomes:

2) Approved with conditions - e.g. additional summer work
3) Academic Probation - e.g. regular meetings to check progress and/or grade requirements
4) Not approved.
Each student will choose 3 higher levels and 3 standard levels.
