PEACE TREE AND THE SCHOOL BEHAVIOR CALENDARS

In the class there is a big tree on the wall. Each month the students will receive a new symbol to collect their good choices. This month it is an apple. We created the rules today after reading "Recess Queen" as a class and how we want to treat each other and respect each other and the teachers.

Their goal this month is 15 stickers on their apple to receive the certificate at the end of the month.

Starting Tuesday ( Sept. 6th) the school wide calendars will be sent home daily for you to see and to sign on Friday.

Their goals and rules to achieve a sticker on their symbol and a smiley face on their calendar are:

1."GIVE ME 5" - I use this tool to gain the focus of the class during a lesson or directions. I have the poster in the your Parent Night Folders if you want to hang them up a home.

2. RAISE OUR HANDS - we raise our hands if we have something to say and not call out.

3. KEEP OUR HANDS AND FEET TO YOURSELF

4.INCLUDE EVERYONE WHEN PLAYING AND IN CLASS

5.RESPECT EACH OTHER IN WORDS AND PLAY

6. PATIENT - wait our turn.

7. NO TATTLING - worry about ourselves.

8.USE "WE" AND NOT " ME, ME, I,I"

9. ALWAYS USE OUR MANNERS
