A little about Ms. Peacock

A little bit of background on Ms. Peacock!

This is my 23 year teaching kindergarten.  I have been teaching kindergarten for 19 years at Saints Peter and Paul School and 4 years at Saint Andrew in Drexel Hill.

A few years ago I became the Teaching ( Asst.) Director of our Early childhood center.  It has been such an honor to work with the PreK staff and the state to make sure the children are safe and happy!

There are so many things that I love about teaching, especially kindergarten.  It is such a magical year of growth, wonder, gaining independence, and achieving so much!

I have a Human Resource Degree from Cabrini College , plus an Early Childhood/ Elementary Degree from Cabrini College.  This past year I received my Director Creditianls for Early Childhood Center. A few training and  I have received  while being a teacher are: DIBELS Next, DIBELS Math, Wilson Reading Program Fundations, and IST training.

I am a proud aunt to 3 nephews and 1 niece!  They are growing way to fast!  I love taking walks, going to the beach, day trips, festivals, and hanging out with my friends and family!  

As an educator I believe in building  independence , problem solving, and confidence  in who they are.  By doing this they build confidence to take risk in their learner and when they do the astonishment they have when they are able to complete a skill independently is amazing! 

I am looking forward to meeting you and the kids in August!
