Math- Chapter 8: Time and Money
*identifying and counting coins (nickels, pennies, dimes, quarters)
*Please continue practicing addition and subtraction facts at home. We will be completing Timed Math Fact drills once a week.
Fundations- Unit 9: Closed Syllables
*Students will be learning how to identify and mark a closed syllable. They will learn a new way to mark words, but the spelling patterns will be a review of previous skills. Please see the "Fundations" page for new information and this unit's trick words.
ELA- Unit 5 Week 1: Every Season
*weekly sight words, vocabulary words, features of an informational text, main idea and details, long o patterns (oa, ow, oe),
Religion- Chapter 13: The Church Welcomes New Members
*We say and do special things to celebrate Baptism, In Baptism we are joined to Jesus and one another
*We will be attending Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent.
