Upcoming Tests:
*Unit 4 Sight Words- Wednesday (3/25): Review sheet and flashcards were sent home last week.
Terra Novas: Terra Nova Testing starts on Wednesday, March 18th and goes until Wednesday, March 25th. It is extremely important for the children to arrive on time during testing week. Please don't make any doctor appointments in the morning. The best preparation for Terra Nova Testing is a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast. First grade doesn't have as many days of testing as the other grades. We are taking Math on Monday, 3/23, and Science and Social Studies on Tuesday, 3/24.
April & May Pretzel Money: Pretzel money for April and May is due on Friday, March 27th. The cost for April is $12.60 (cash or check) or $13.04 (credit card.) The cost for May is $14.70 (cash or check) or $15.27 (credit card.)
Delaware Children's Museum Spring Field Trip: We're going to the DCM on Wednesday, April 29th. We'll be leaving school between 9am-9:15am and returning to school by 2pm. If you would like to chaperone our field trip, please email me. We will not be able to take everyone this time, but I will get back to you if your name is selected! Chaperones must have all their clearances. More details about our field trip to come!
Lenten Food Drive: This Lenten season, the Student Council is organizing a food drive that will run through Friday, March 27th. First graders are being asked to bring in donations of sugar. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
*Please return library books on Wednesdays to ensure that your child can pick a new book!
