The Youth Well-Being Improvement Lab (launching October 27, 2026) brings together community-based organizations to focus on designing, testing, and codifying practices that strengthen well-being for all students. Over several months, youth-serving staff and leaders engage in network gatherings, plan and test ideas with teams from their organization, gather data to learn what works, and receive coaching. Using continuous improvement strategies and tools, we’ll explore: What makes fostering youth well-being challenging? What ideas can we test to center well-being in our programs? How will we know if our efforts worked? See here a description of the work.

The Competency Learning Collaborative is a learning community for youth-serving organizations looking to embed future-ready competencies into their programs. Participants will explore how to define, support, and assess the competencies young people need to thrive. Topics are shaped by participant needs, such as, aligning to competency frameworks (e.g. NYC’s new Portrait of a Graduate and SSN’s Future9), developing staff alignment, and creating assessment tools. See here for a description of the work.
