The Department of History of Shyampur Siddheswari Mahavidyalaya invites you to submit your original articles for its annual departmental journal, Ketan. Ketan is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality articles on various aspects of history, such as culture, politics, society, economy, religion, art, and literature. Ketan aims to promote the study and appreciation of the rich and diverse history of India and the world, with a special focus on the local and regional history of West Bengal. The journal welcomes articles from both faculty members and students of the department, as well as from external contributors. The articles should be written in English or Bengali, and should follow the prescribed format and guidelines. The articles should be submitted by email to history@ssmahavidyalaya.edu.in by 31st March 2024. The selected articles will be published in the journal in June 2024.
