"What's on my ceiling?"

CCTV cameras are only placed in classrooms or teaching spaces that are identified as high-risk (e.g., for safety/security reasons) or high-value (e.g., containing expensive equipment). 

Their purpose is to:

• Protect school property from theft or damage.

• Enhance safety for students and staff.

• Deter misconduct or unauthorized access.

The cameras are not used for routine monitoring of teaching activities. Footage is only reviewed:

• In response to a reported incident (e.g., theft, vandalism, or safety concern).

• As part of a formal investigation.
