Wi-Fi and Technology Access
Old Building Remotes:
Q: Where do you want them? Do you want to use end-of-year checkout procedures?
A: Teachers should place the old building remotes on the table so that the IT department can easily collect them.
Distribution of Tech Remotes:
Q: How will remotes for Apple TV, projectors, and rooms with TVs and other tech be distributed?
A: The IT department will place the remote for the projector and the mounted TV in their respective rooms. Teachers and staff who use the room are responsible for ensuring that the remotes remain in the room and are not lost or mixed up with remotes from other rooms.

Room Maintenance
Utility Management:
Q: Do we need to turn off thermostats, projectors, Apple TVs, and air filters each night or when leaving a room?

CCTV in Classrooms
CCTV:
Q: Why are CCTV cameras installed in certain classrooms?
A: CCTV cameras are only placed in classrooms or teaching spaces that are identified as high-risk (e.g., for safety/security reasons) or high-value (e.g., containing expensive equipment). Their purpose is to:
Protect school property from theft or damage.
Enhance safety for students and staff.
Deter misconduct or unauthorized access.
Q: Are the cameras actively monitored?
A: No. The cameras are not used for routine monitoring of teaching activities. Footage is only reviewed:
In response to a reported incident (e.g., theft, vandalism, or safety concern).
As part of a formal investigation.
Email Signature
Updated SSIS Address (Tan Phong → Tan Hung Ward):
Q: Why do some email signatures still say "Tan Phong Ward"?
A:
Why has the ward name in SSIS’s address changed?
In July 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City government merged several wards (phường) in District 7 to streamline administration. As part of this change:
Tan Phong Ward (where SSIS was previously located) was combined with neighboring areas to form the new Tan Hung Ward.
What does this mean for SSIS’s official address?
Our legal address has been updated to reflect the new ward name.
The street name and district (Nguyen Duc Canh St., District 7) remain the same.
New official address:
78 Nguyen Duc Canh St., Tan Hung Ward, District 7, HCMC
Why do some email signatures still say "Tan Phong Ward"?
Default signatures (created after July 2025) automatically show "Tan Hung."
Custom signatures made before the change were not updated automatically—staff may need to edit theirs manually.
Will this affect mail/deliveries?
No! Postal services and maps have been updated, so both the old and new ward names will work temporarily. However, please use Tan Hung Ward for official documents.
