I believe in Barcelona
About two years ago I went to Spain because I have some Spanish blood. Whenever we went, we purchased tickets to go to a Barcelona game. When we went to the stadium I was amazed at all the space there was and that it was much much bigger than the DC United stadium, I went to a few months before I went to Spain and I thought that stadium was big. My parents have some friends who know the people who own Barcelona, so thanks to my parents we were able to go into the locker room and I got to see one of my favorite players walking down the hall. He was gavi the center midfielder of Barcelona's starting lineup. I was so happy at that moment because I never had the chance to see a professional soccer player before face to face. When the game was about to start we were going back to our seats and one of the people who worked there gave me a morata jersey. My parents said that they would pay him but the guy said that it was free and enjoy the game. When the game started I was yelling the whole game rooting my team on, at the end of the game we went back to the locker room and I got a picture of the whole FC Barcelona team.
Two summers ago I went to Turkey for the first time to see some games for the Champions League. When I sat down at my seat there was a lot of light shining down at the players. When I saw the players I said to my mom that's not barca that's psv so she checked the dates and apparently she got the dates wrong. The game for PSV vs Barcelona was in three to five weeks.
So about four days later we flew back home and decided to make our own stadium so we could watch the soccer games of Barcelona. We got Spain flags, barca flags, and lewandowski soccer jerseys. We placed the flags all around the room and asked some friends over to watch and rute on Barca. So we had everybody put on Lewandowski's jersey for barca, then we had everybody play a quick game, the game was a quiz on Barca to see who knew the most about that team.
We all took turns asking questions. I remember my question was the hardest one, who were the first 11 people to get signed on to barca to be truthful i didn’t even know the answer to the question. To be honest I'm not really a fan of watching soccer games. I'm the type of person who likes playing instead of watching, but barca is a different story. They have a lot of action and thrill to their games, so that's why I only watch barca play because the rest of the clubs are interesting but barca is better. Barca has always been an important team to Spain, barca is different because it is the only team in Spain that has mostly Spanish players on the team.
Barca is also different because it's one of the few soccer teams that lets everybody play on the field, even when they're losing by one or two points they put on the people who sit on the bench for most of the other games.
