I Believe in Animals

I believe that Animals offer unique companionship that can be just as, if not more, fulfilling than human relationships. They provide unwavering loyalty, unconditional affection, and a sense of security that can significantly improve mental and physical well-being. Human companionship values can just as easily be done by an animal than a human. Take a sibling. Dogs are always there for me. When I talk to them, they can not talk so they can’t tell anyone. Also, I raise them like they are my own child. I feel like a kind of a parent figure in the dog’s life. They can sense your feelings. Horses are known to be highly sensitive to human emotions and can often pick up on their riders' feelings. Research suggests that horses can read body language, facial expressions, and even vocal tones, allowing them to gauge the emotional state of their riders or owners. This is something even some humans do not have the ability to do. The barn cat at my stable can really read me. When I am having a hard day, the cat softens up and when I am having a good day the cat acts more playful than cute and cuddly. Studies show that pets can decrease stress levels that therefore significantly improve heart health. I can go to animals like horses, dogs, and cats in tough times without the risk of judgement.
Pets are easy to forgive. When my dog accidentally bit me while we were playing fetch, I knew he did not mean to bite me and he was so cute that I could not stay mad at him for long.
Also, dogs, cats and horses are not scared to share their own opinion. My dog has preferred sleeping spaces. When he is feeling sore, he sleeps in a bed, when he is feeling pretty good he sleeps on the couch, and when he is feeling cold, he sleeps on the heating vent. When horses bite me because of something they do not like about what I am doing, I correct it. Also, if I am petting my dog, if he does not like how I am petting him, he simply gets up, and moves.
Another thing about dogs is that they can sleep in most places. They can be flexible if the situation is not great. For example, when we were driving to my river house, the back of the car was mostly filled with stuff. We could only clear out a small space for him to lie down. However, he adapted to it and did the best with what he had. Another example is when I am exercising. When I am exercising, I may be doing just a walk or I may be sprinting for my life. In either situation, the dog or even cat will do whatever makes me happy. Another way that they are good companions is food choices. My dog has switched his food twice in the last year and he has not gotten picky even once.
Animals also have a pretty good sense of humor. When I am playing fetch with my dog, he sometimes brings the ball back and sometimes he does not. He even runs over the ball while trying to get the ball. Also, when he does something bad, he sits down and acts like he is completely innocent.
Dogs are just as good companions as humans because they can read emotions, they are easy to forgive, they are not afraid of their own opinion, they can sleep in most places, and they have a pretty good sense of humor.
