First Year Para Information and Resources

Paraprofessionals beginning their first year of employment with Special School District are required to complete a four-day New Paraprofessional Orientation course PRIOR to working with students. The Professional Learning Modules linked below are refreshers and additional resources for new paraprofessionals. The Professional Learning Modules are NOT a substitute for the mandatory four-day New Paraprofessional Orientation nor any other professional learning assigned by a supervisor.
