SSD in AACtion

This month, we are highlighting Megan Bigley from McCluer North Highschool 

in the Ferguson Florissant School District. 

Megan was nominated by her partner teacher who said this about her, “Ms. Bigley does a great job at encouraging our essential skills students to communicate with their devices! Some students are overwhelmed by AAC or disinterested, so she works to engage students while meeting them at their level. In my class, she's been able to help my students take turns, ask questions, and respond to others. Ms. Bigley also helps the adults in our program gain a better understanding of how to use AAC to benefit student learning.”
