This month, we are highlighting Megan Busiek & Claire Rogers from Ackerman School here at Special School District. These SLPs were nominated by their fellow SLP co-worker, Theresa Hof.

Theresa says that Megan works with staff and students daily to ensure they have access to their devices, opportunities to communicate, and that her students are treated with dignity and respect. She continues to provide support for staff so her students are getting the support they need and deserve throughout their day. She advocates for her student's needs and well being. She is amazing! 

Theresa says that Claire prepares fun and engaging activities to support her students. She is patient and calm with her students and honors all of their communication. She is a wonderful model for staff on how to communicate with an AAC user and supports their communication throughout the day.
