Title: Postdoctoral Researcher
Short Bio:
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher and dedicated educator with over 18 years of experience bridging Life Sciences and Earth Science. Having earned my PhD from the Department of Forestry at National Chung Hsing University and my degrees in Life Sciences from National Tsing Hua University, my work focuses on the vital intersection of ecosystem services, human well-being, and sustainable landscape management.
I specialize in utilizing advanced technical tools—including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), R language, and SPSS—to analyze Land Use and Land Cover (LULC) changes, carbon sequestration, and environmental impacts. My research also leverages Social Media Big Data to assess tourism pressure and its impact on biodiversity, as seen in studies conducted in Shei-Pa National Park.
Beyond research, I am a committed mentor who strives to foster a "care for life" mindset in the next generation. I have successfully guided numerous student teams to national-level awards in GIS and scientific writing competitions, helping them translate academic theory into real-world environmental solutions. Driven by the global vision of 2050 Net-Zero emissions, I am dedicated to promoting a sustainable coexistence between human society and the natural world.
