Welcome to room 9!

Hello, and welcome to the new school year! I am Mrs. Chase and can’t wait to have your kiddo in my class this year. I have been teaching in Santee School District since 1995. I've taught second, third, and fourth grades at Chet F. Harritt and here at Rio Seco. I have two teaching credentials, one in regular education and one in special education, as well as a master's degree in education. I have a wonderful, supportive husband. Our kids are all grown and in college or working. I also have the cutest dog ever named Murphy.

My hobbies include playing games, gardening (I’m really into succulents right now), cooking, and exploring new places.
