Hi families! I'm Mrs. Boulais (pronounced Boo-lay), and I’m so excited to be your child’s third-grade teacher this year!

A little about me--my husband and I live in East County, and we have two wonderful sons who both attended Rio Seco from kindergarten through 8th grade. Our oldest is now at Grossmont College, and our youngest is a student at Santana High School. He also plays club soccer with Albion Elite Academy, and we are so proud of them both!

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Cal State Long Beach and my Master’s in Education from National University. I’ve been a proud teacher in the Santee School District for over 22 years! Along with teaching third grade, I also have the joy of mentoring new and student teachers. I truly love what I do—every day I feel lucky to work with such incredible students and families.

When I’m not in the classroom, my family and I love going to the movies, eating out, camping in our trailer, relaxing in the pool, and traveling together.

Family and teaching are my biggest passions, and I’m committed to creating a classroom where your child feels loved, safe, and successful. I’m looking forward to a fantastic year full of learning, laughter, and growth!
