Hi!  My name is Mrs. Buntin and I am so excited to be your child's third grade teacher! 

I live in San Diego and I have a husband and three children.  My oldest is in third grade this year and he is obsessed with baseball! I also have a daughter going into Kindergarten who loves unicorns! My youngest boy is starting preschool and he loves any treats!

I received my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from SDSU.  I also have a certification to teach Drama and English.  I have been teaching in the Santee School District for over 10 years.  I have previously taught EAK, kindergarten, first and third grade as well as being the Intervention Resource Teacher at multiple schools.  My favorite part about teaching is making connections with students, parents and other staff members!

I am a big theatre nerd!  I love going to see musicals as much as possible! I also love hiking, going for walks around the lake and spending quality time with my family and friends.

I am so excited to be at Rio Seco this year with my awesome partner Mrs. Gormican!  I look forward to creating a kind, safe environment for your kids each and every day we are together!  It's going to be a great year!
