We will celebrate your child’s birthday on or close to their birthday. Due to allergies, edible treats cannot be brought to school to celebrate birthdays. This is strictly enforced for the safety of our students. If you are looking for another way to recognize your child’s birthday, we suggest that you participate in our Birthday Book Club by donating a new book to our classroom library. The book will remain as a part of our library for this year’s students and future students to enjoy. Other choices for honoring your child are

• Donate a ball or jump rope (new or used) to the classroom for recess.

• Provide each student in class with a colorful pencil, stickers or eraser.

• Choose favorite song or musical piece to sing or play for the class

• Bring simple goodie bags for the class with safe items (no balloons or food items).
