Ms. Cruz has been working in education since 1994 & has been with DVMS since 1996 - she is a wealth of knowledge! When Ms. Cruz isn't at DVMS running groups, hosting activities during breaks, & supporting students with their social/emotional & academic needs, you will likely catch her spending time with her family or walking her dog.

This is Monica Rosas' third year serving as Diablo Vista Middle School's registrar & counseling secretary. Prior to joining DVMS, Ms. Rosas worked as a para-educator at California High School in San Ramon. During her free time, Ms. Rosas spends as much time as she can with her new baby girl, Xitlali.

Academic Advising: Whether you need help with & selecting the perfect elective or want to discuss concerns in current classes, we are here for you!
Academic Support: Come by for tips for organization, preparing for exams, how to deal with test anxiety, goal setting, & more!
Social/Emotional Support: Our office is a safe, confidential, & non-judgmental space to discuss personal issues related to family, friends, relationships, etc.
Activities During Break: Throughout the year, we will be available during break to play games, help you get organized, & do some mindfulness exercises.
Eagles + Time: Counselors will host a variety of workshops & activities during Eagles + Plus time. Check "upcoming events" to see what's around the corner!
