Automatic Admissions for Texas Public Universities 

Students who graduate the top 10% of their high school graduating class may be eligble for certain privlages when applying for college. It is important to note that the University of Texas Austin is the only Texas public university that falls below the top 10% Automatic Admission threshold. The current percentage is Top 5%.
