EDP Cell will be organizing a one day awareness program on Banks For Entrepreneurs on 13/8/2016 for IV EEE, CE & ME students. Mr. S.J.F Ravindranath, Chief Manager, Canara Bank, Sainikpuri, Secendrabad, will be acting as the resource person.

EDP Cell and department of civil engineering will be organizing a one day seminar, INNOVATIVE TECHNIQUES IN CONSTRUCTION OF STRUCTURE, ON 24/10/2016. Mr. I. Aadhisesha Reddy , Consultant, AR Consultancy Service, Mumbai will be the resource person. All II B,Tech CE students can attend the program.

The Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce & Federation in collaboration with The Anantapur District chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing awareness program on Industrial opportunities in anantapur at Anantapur Medical College Auditorium on 13/7/2018. Interested students can approach I&EDP cell convener and attend the program. Bus facility is provided from college campus at 10:00 AM.

In view of the forthcoming Gnana Bheri program, the university is planning to conduct several district-level student competitions. The purpose of the Gnana Bheri is to transform AP into a knowledge hub with innovation and information technology in the forefront. In this connection, the university in collaboration with SmartBridge & IBM has come up with a unique 24 Hrs Hackathon where the participants are mentored to build applications based on AI or IoT, on the theme of “Disaster preparedness & Management”.
Preliminary rounds of Hackathon will be conducted in each district to ensure maximum participation of the students. The winner teams from these prelims will participate in the final round which will be conducted at JNTU Anantapur main campus college. Only the top three winners of each Hackathon held in nodal colleges will be participating in the central hackathon to be held at JNTU Anantapur. Participation and appreciation certificates will be provided along with exciting prizes for the winners. Top three teams of central hackathon may have opportunity to receive prizes from Hon’ble Chief Minister in Gnana Bheri program.
Preliminary rounds in each district will be conducted in the nodal colleges identified by the university. In this regard, I am by direction inform you that Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute of Technology, Anantapur has been identified as the nodal college for conducting the preliminary round of Hackathon during 6th & 7th of September, 2018 in Anantapur district.

In the context of Gnana Bheri Program, the best Startups/ Models will be allowed to be presented, it is requested to arrange for the presentation of startups / Models at JNTUA Headquarters on 11.09.2018 from 10 A.M onwards. All the teams which have submitted the Startups/Models will have to physically come on 11.09.2018 and present the Startups/ Models. The best will be selected and those Startups/Models will be permitted on the day of Hon’ble CM visit to JNTUA. Please utilize this Opportunity. Also please note that the best models teams will be trained and will be taken to the next step of business plan preparation, Cheek for market potential and register the Startup.

I & EDP Cell is organizing a 24 hours Hackathon on “Disaster preparedness & Management” on 6/9/2018 and 7/9/2018 under JNTUA in collaboration with SmartBridge & IBM. 93 students (25 teams) from various colleges will be attending the event.

I & EDP Cell is organizing an awareness camp on Entrepreneurship from 12/10/2018 to 15/10/2018. The program is sponsored by National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board NSTEDB, Government of India, New Delhi in association with CENTRE FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT (CED), HYDERABAD (An Undertaking of ALEAP-INDIA). Interested students of III B.Tech from all branches can register for attending the program to be held in B- Block Seminar hall.

Venture Initiation Center(VIC) will be launched in the campus on 1/12/2018 CEO, Principal and i2E representatives. This is an initiative from I & EDP Cell. All the HODs and professors of various departments are requested to attend the event.

I & EDP Cell in association with AICTE – MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC) - Institution Innovation Council is organising a Workshop on 'Intellectual Property Rights' on 10/01/2019 at B Block seminar hall. Prof. R. Ramakrishna Reddy, SKU, Ananthapuramu will be the resource person. An Online/LIVE session by MIC will be from 1: 30 to 4:30 PM. Interested final year students from all branches can attend the event.
