Integrating STEM is instrumental to the necessary development of the soft skills needed to adapt to the ever-changing demands of the work environment through the application of collaboration, teamwork, critical thinking, and communication.

South Ripley Community School Corporation is committed to incorporating STEM practices and experiences into classrooms at every grade level on a regular basis. To ensure success, we promote collaboration and support all students at each grade level. Specifically, this certification will help us provide additional access to STEM curriculum for our elementary and lead a path to our junior high and high school students. A corporation initiative is to achieve district STEM certification, according to the timeline established by the Indiana Department of Education. We are committed and supportive of the journey to becoming a STEM-certified district. We are excited about the opportunity to better prepare our students with future-ready skills through immersion in STEM curriculum.
