Julia is a 4th-6th grade Social Science teacher committed to engaging students to stretch their thinking by discovering the amazing world around them through a variety of teaching strategies. Member of the STEM and Technology committees dedicated to improving the overall growth of our community. Previously, taught High Ability, Title I, and 4th grade.
Neal is an Art specials teacher dedicated to emphasizing student engagement to create well-rounded, creative thinkers. Devoting time to the school-wide improvement by being a member of the STEM and Technology committees. Previously, taught 2nd grade and 4th grade. He is dedicated to improving the schools integration of the 21st-century skills. Previously taught 4th grade and 2nd grade.
Brett is a Professional Development Specialist and Google Certified Trainer for Five Star Technology Solutions. He is full-time eCoach for South Ripley School Corporation where he models 21st-century teaching strategies (PBL, Inquiry-based learning, STEM, genius hour, coding, student-centered learning) for educators on a daily basis. Previously, Brett taught grades 4-6.
Leslie has been a 3rd-grade teacher at South Ripley Elementary School for 4 years. She is a 2011 graduate of Indiana University. Leslie coaches the VEX robotics teams at SRES, is a Google Certified Educator Level 2, and is a PLTW Lead Teacher. She attended the 2019 ISTE conference in Philadelphia and presented at #ISTE20 and #ISTE21
