Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment is a joint effort between Santa Rosa City Schools and Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) to prepare students for post-secondary success before they graduate from high school. Students in 9th grade and above are eligible to take advantage of this opportunity. Students – both on and off track – will achieve academic and career success when provided with an on-ramp to post-secondary education that is connected to real jobs. Some benefits to participating in this program are:

• Save Money! Tuition is free and many textbooks are available from the SRJC library

• Enter college with credit already accumulated

• Earn High School and college credit at the same time (3 college units = 10 high school credits)

• Explore career areas

• Looks great on college applications!

• Bump in GPA for grades of C or higher

• Most courses are UC and/or CSU transferrable

• Most courses can be applied towards a certificate programs
