A shortcut to finding high quality information is accessing it through databases. Approximately 80% of the internet is hidden in databases. This includes journal articles, ebooks, encyclopedias and more.

You have two key things you have to do to access databases. Firstly join the State Library of NSW using one of the steps below; secondly, once you have a membership number, watch the video down the bottom of this webpage for a brief tutorial on how to find the right database, and how to use it.
It is easy to join The State Library of NSW, click on the link below, fill out the details -use your NAC email address, and make sure you choose to receive your membership by “Email & Post”. You should receive your membership by the following working day.
