SEA has established a $13,750 fund to encourage member program sites to sign up and send students to US Squash sanctioned tournaments. SEA will cover 50% of all entry fees that SEA member programs pay for their players to compete in US Squash tournaments.
How long will the fund be available for? Until the $13,750 runs out, or August 31, 2026.
How will granted funds be distributed? Funding will be disbursed after the completion of the event and proof that the event was recorded in ClubLocker. Programs should submit a copy of the receipt or receipts using this link, and SEA will then send a check to the member program for 50% of fees paid. Receipts must include the following: date that the entries were paid for, the vendor, and the names of who played. SEA will only pay for students who competed in the event.
Who is eligible for this subsidy? Current elementary, middle, high school enrolled in an SEA program or an SEA postsecondary participant of any age. SEA Alumni are also encouraged to apply.
Is there a cap? Member programs will be reimbursed up to $1,000 from the Competition Fund. Should a member program wish to apply for additional reimbursement, it will be at the discretion of SEA.
Does this include entry fees for SEA competitions? No.
Is there a deadline for submitting receipts? Within 14 days of an event’s conclusion. If receipts aren’t submitted after 14 days, then SEA will use its discretion whether or not to reimburse.
Can member programs submit receipts retroactively? No. The fund only covers tournaments starting as of September 15, 2025.
Will this fund cover US Squash Individual and Team tournaments? Yes.
What type of tournaments will this fund cover? Points based, USR, skill level and adult tournaments.
