If you plan to share more than one document with someone or a group, share a folder and place the documents in it rather than share one document at a time. This cuts down on the list of documents that will show up in other people's shared files.

If you delete a file it goes into your trash. It is not permanently deleted until you remove it from the trash.
If someone shares a document with you it will be in your shared with me. As long as it stays in your shared with me folder you will always have an updated copy if others are working on it. Once you move it out of the shared with me it breaks the link so any updates will not show up on that version that was removed.
Use the shareable link on a website to give access to multiple documents without posting all of them. Remember to make sure the shared setting is to view only otherwise people will change your originals.
When you click on + New you can upload entire folders instead of uploading one file at a time.
