How will Classroom help me in my class?

1. It will keep all your assignments and tests organized in one place.

2. With each class having its own calendar it is easy to keep students up to date and on task.

3. It is easy to keep parents informed of how their student is doing with quick access to their email address.

Tips and Tricks

1. While in your Classroom click on the 3 lines in the top left corner. By clicking on To do you Classroom will show you all the assignments you need to grade across all your classes. This will eliminate you missing an assignment to grade.

2. When creating a test using Forms make sure to only have that test in the Assigned Quiz otherwise you will not be able to push the scores to Grades.

3. In settings you can create a Meet session.

4. In setting change the section on Stream to Only teacher can post and comment,,,at least till the students are responsible enough to use it, otherwise your stream will be very long.

5. To cut down on too much stuff under Stream, in the settings under Classwork on the Stream change to Hide notifications. Students already know to go to Classwork so they don't need this. Only your announcements will be on the stream then.

6. If you are going to have a recurring assignment like a current event or project, make a template first so you can re-use it each time.
