Founded in 1991, The Sauk Prairie Theatre Guild started life as Riverside Players. Some of the original people include Mercedes Cox, Leslie Brunner, Mary Dickey, Rauel LaBreche, Ilona Pinske, and a host of other well known names around town.

The goal has always been to provide the residents of Sauk Prairie, an opportunity to participate in local theater, whether the focus is a children's play, or dinner theater for the adults, and many more things in between.
