The IB Diploma Program Core
Creativity, Activity, and Service
CAS involves students in a wide range of activities alongside their academic studies. CAS focuses on the development of student interests outside of the traditional classroom.
The Extended Essay
Students write an independent, self-directed piece of research, finishing with a 4,000-word paper. The essay allows students to pursue a topic of interest in-depth and prepares students for undergraduate research and writing.
Theory of Knowledge
TOK is an interdisciplinary course that unifies the various disciplines by exploring the nature of knowledge and encouraging appreciation of various cultural perspectives.
Eleventh and Twelfth Grade Courses
Group One: Studies in Language and Literature
Group Two: Language Acquisition
Group Three: Individuals and Societies
Group Four: Sciences
Group Five: Mathematics
Mathematics, Analysis and Approaches, Higher or Standard Level, or
Mathematics, Applications and Interpretation, Standard Level
Group Six: The Arts
in lieu of an Arts course, students can take Psychology, or a second Science course.
