*It is important to note that, even if students are struggling to complete their homework in its entirety, they should still submit it in Google Classroom and show ALL of their work for each problem, whether they were able to complete the problem or not. This helps me to see where they got stuck, and allows the student to get appropriate credit for their work!

I believe that self-evaluation and goal-setting is essential to student success. By allowing students to reflect on their performance, see what worked and didn't work, and where they can improve, students are encouraged to take ownership of their grades and learning. One of the ways in which I do this is by having students reflect on their HOW every other week. When inputting HOW grades for my students, I compare my notes to my students' and then meet with students to discuss any disparities between the two.
