About this class

You will be learning how to play different styles of jazz! I am working on figuring a plan for getting together! It might not be until January, but I will keep you posted.

Course calendar

Performance Jazz will be starting a little later this year! I will be talking to you about it in our google meets. If you are interested in playing the following please email me: Drum set, Bass Guitar, Guitar, and piano. You have to already know how to read piano music to play piano.

Course/Class expectations...

Performance jazz is not graded!!!!
attendance is really important because there is usually one person on a part!
participation- anyone can participate!
class preparation- it's really important for you to learn your parts because you may be the only one playing that part!
You will be checking this site so you don't get a million emails from me! I also will be emailing your parents about meet times:-)

PERFORMANCE JAZZ BAND IS A REALLY FUN AND SMALL GROUP THAT BECOMES REALLY CLOSE DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR. IT IS A LOT OF WORK TO BE GOOD, BUT IT IS SO REWARDING TO SOUND GREAT!
