math Block 1 (Under Construction!)

Grading: All in class and remote work will be reviewed and used as formative and summative assessments for the learning targets and be reported in the Habits of Work grade.
Attendance: Attendance during my class will be expected every Monday,Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (Unless you are not feeling well). Wednesday you do not have class scheduled with me, but are welcome to email me or join a Google Meeting if you need any help!
Participation: Participation in class will be reflected in Habits of Work scores. The Open Up Math program is based around Whole group/ small group discussion, so participation is crucial for learning! Even if you only share your thinking with me or one other classmate, your understanding will improve.
Preparation: Preparation will be reflected in Habits of Work scores. To be prepared for class, you will need: a pencil, a notebook, your iPad, a calculator, and a positive attitude!
Assignments: All work for this class will be posted on Google Classroom, and will be shown by their due dates on the google calendar above. Passing in assignments on time is important! Late work will be reflected in Habits of Work scores.
