The Library / Archive Club is a service club dedicated scanning, archiving and promoting CHS historical documents (yearbooks, newspapers, etc.). Participants also adopt an area of the library to maintain (dust, shelf-read, display). Members work independently and submit their hours. Meetings occur once per quarter after school in the library.
Club History: The CHS Library / Archive Club began during the 2018-19 school year as a service branch of the Book Club called "Epsilon Beta" (in an affiliation with a state organization). During the 2020-21 school year, we became an entity separate from the Book Club --complete with our own club photo in the yearbook!
Our officers for 2023-24 are Co-Presidents Chloe C. and Karlee S. Our club logo was designed by Elise S.
Some Archive Members have been working on slides relating to a specific theme or time period. These slides will scroll in the library at our collaboration station tvs and will also post on this website. Please check back to enjoy their research. Below are slide shows that promotes our school's rich history.
The documents this club is helping preserve can be used in various ways. For instance, co-president Kalea A. used the CHS Archives to find material for her MYP Project: Click here to view the website she created to highlight the CHS Garden Club.
