Butterflies and Moths

The Painted Lady butterfly (Vanessa Cardui) larva arrives in the spring and the students observe, chart, and study the life cycle. Other specimens are researched through various Internet activities in the classroom. Students will write a report about this Painted Lady butterfly, which is guided and done in the classroom.
