From 2001 to 2003 I continued work in graduate school in physics. However, at that time I realized that I did not want a career in physics. I moved in with my fiancé at the time and moved with him to Southern California for his career.
I transferred in as a junior in 1998 to the University of California, Davis from San Juoaquin Delta College. I did undergraduate work from 1998 to 2001 in both physics and evolution and ecology. Because of a clerical error, I was not awarded a duel degree. However, I did earn a BS in Evolution and Ecology (emphasis in animal behavior.) This program was the first year it was implemented at UC Davis and replaced the former Zoology major. There were 5 graduates in Evolution and Ecology in 2001.
I went to San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, CA from 1994 to 1998. I did not get an AA degree, but I was able to use my credits to transfer to UC Davis.
I graduated from Lincoln High School, Stockton, CA in 1994. Normally people don't put their high school information when they've already been to graduate school. However, I finished high school in 3 years earning my diploma early at 16 years old. I attended night school as well as a full load at my high school and I'm quite proud of that.
