Mrs. Hensley is in her tenth year of teaching and 7th year as the Director of Choirs at Westfield High School. Under her direction, the WHS Varsity choirs have received multiple Sweepstakes awards at the UIL Concert & Sight Reading Evaluation and the WHS Chamber Choir has earned a Performance of Distinction of the North Texas Madrigal Festival.
Mrs. Hensley holds a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Oklahoma State University. While at OSU, she was an active member in the choral music program in the Chorale, Chamber and University Singers ensembles. She was also president of the student led ACDA chapter her senior year. Mrs. Hensley is active in the Houston choral scene as a member of the professional choir, Cantare Houston, as well as a member of the worship team and choir at Lord of Life Lutheran Church. She is an active member of TMEA, TCDA and TMAA with UIL judging appointments this upcoming school year.
When Mrs. Hensley isn't teaching or performing, she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking and spending time with her fur babies.

Ms. Losoya-Corbitt (aka Ms. LC) is excited to share her fifth year as the Associate Director of Choirs at Westfield High School. Under her direction, the WHS sub-non varsity treble & non varsity treble choirs have received multiple Sweepstakes awards at the UIL Concert & Sight Reading Evaluation. This year, she is overjoyed to co-teach all choirs and continue the legacy of excellence that is WHS Choir!
Ms. LC holds a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Sam Houston State University. While at SHSU, she performed in various locations throughout Texas and placed in the top three of the National Association of Teachers and Singing (NATS) vocal competition in 2017, 2018 and 2019. She was the recipient of the TMEA Collegiate Music Educator award in 2019 and is an active member of TMEA and TCDA.
While Ms. LC's passion truly lies in teaching and performing choral music, in her spare time she enjoys playing with her two young children, reading novels, gardening, baking and crafting.
