The Westfield High School Choral Music Program is a PERFORMANCE BASED ORGANIZATION, and it is based on the cumulative sequence of musical experiences designed to promote the continuous growth of students in musical understanding, skills, and means of self-expression.  In addition, the WHS choral experience affords each student the opportunity to gain a relative mastery of musical knowledge, education and experiences through a work ethic of not only an individual quality of work, but that of a cohesive unit, team, group and performing ensemble, which is demonstrated daily in and out of the regular classroom environment in study and performance.

In conjunction with the musical skills learned, the student will be given opportunities to acquire and demonstrate the life skills of responsibility, teamwork, dedication, loyalty, and self-discipline.
