Natalie Nwaeme is a 12-year educator who serves as an EB Development Specialist for middle schools in Spring Independent School District. Prior to this, she was an ELA/R teacher in Houston ISD and entered into the field of education via Teach For America. Natalie is extremely creative and is well-versed in coaching and developing teachers and working with district and school leaders to create original, high-quality training and academic materials to increase teacher productivity and propel student growth.

Juliana Vargas

Juliana Vargas was born in Queens, New York to her immigrant parents from Colombia. She became a first-generation high school and college graduate. She has been in education for ten years and she now serves as an EB Development Specialist for Spring ISD in Houston, Texas. Education is her passion because she sees it as a ticket to many opportunities and she hopes to share this vision with her community.

Mercedes Perez

Middle School Development Specialist

Mercedes Perez- is an EB Development Specialist for Spring Independent School District in Houston, Texas with 24-years in education. She taught English in Puerto Rico for 9 years and continued her growth as an educator in Houston. Her purpose has always been to offer her creativity, knowledge, and support to students who are learning English as a second language as well as serve as a facilitator to other educators that share the same passion.
