Breakfast & Lunch

All students will receive free breakfast AND free lunch this year. Our Smith Scotties will have the option to eat breakfast in the classroom from 7:30 to 7:55. Instruction begins promptly at 7:55am - if your child will be eating at school please have them arrive a little early so they can get settled and eat before instruction begins.

Classroom Volunteers & PTO

Our classroom needs your help! If you are interested in volunteering, please make sure you have filled out a background check for us. They can be found and submitted online through the Smith Website: http://www.springisd.org/smith2 The link to the volunteer background checks are on the left side of the website under "important links." We will be needing volunteers for help inside the classroom and with projects you can take home and return at a later date.

Our PTO is in need of new members and volunteers to help with upcoming projects for our Smith Scotties. PTO Membership is FREE! Any time you have to give would be so beneficial for our students. Parent & Teacher Communication

Our classroom will be using Remind this year. Remind is a communication app used for teachers to send out quick bursts of information via text or e-mail to parents--kind of like twitter, but directly to your phone! Directions to sign up are at the bottom of this page.
