Welcome to Mrs. Patterson's Class!

Hi, Kinder Stars! My name is Mrs. Patterson and I am thrilled to be your kindergarten teacher this year! This is my 7th year as a Smith Scottie and I love it! This 2018 year will be my 8th year of teaching altogether.

I graduated in 2009 from Houston Baptist University (Dawgs Up!) with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I'm also certified in ESL! I cannot wait to start our year--it's going to be full of fun adventures and lots of learning! So come on, let's get going! :)

I grew up in the Spring area with my family as the youngest of three--I have two big brothers! Justin, Sean, and I all went to Spring schools growing up so once I graduated I couldn't wait to come back and start teaching in the same district that provided me with such fantastic memories.

When I'm not teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband, Mr. Jared, my family, and friends (and also our thirteen-yes, thirteen!-cats), reading, going to the movies & concerts, dining out, and shopping!
