Hi, My name is Jerry Jones, I am one of the 5th grade Math/Science teachers at Burchett Elementary. I recently graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown. This will be my first year teaching, and I feel excited and so ready to meet and teach my students. I decided to become a teacher because I want to create lifetime learners. A trait that will continue to pay rewards to my students as they grow year to year. During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family playing board games, and going to the baseball fields with our twin boys who are now 11.This year will be new and exciting, and we will learn and grow together !
