Jackie is on your softball team and you give her a ride to practice and games but she is always late. She says it is because she cannot find all of her equipment easily. She tries to keep her equipment in a two-foot by two-foot area in her garage. Last week her three softball bats crushed her water bottle, her softballs had rolled across the floor, her bag of sunflower seeds was ripped open and ruined when she put her dirty cleats on it, and she couldn’t find her glove in a pile of jerseys and pants. She plays on two different teams and brought the wrong hat to the last game. Her warm up jacket smelled like it had dirty equipment sitting on it all week.
Design an organizer that Jackie could use to organize her softball equipment to make her life a little easier.
Activity D:
John’s grades have been slipping lately in school. He has handed in several assignments late and didn’t use his textbook to study for his most recent test. His laptop isn’t charged. When asked why his grades are slipping, John said he has trouble getting organized at home. He does his homework on his bed but laying down and writing is uncomfortable so sometimes he just doesn’t do any work. The only light is in the ceiling and it isn’t bright enough for him to read his textbook under. He wants a place to sit and work. All of his papers are in one bin on the floor and the stack must be an inch thick. His laptop charger always falls behind his bed so sometimes he just doesn’t worry about charging it. He wants to get organized and improve his grades.
Design an organizer that John could use to organize his school supplies to make his life a little easier.
